Onedrive

Microsoft OneDrive was previously known as SkyDrive. It is a place where users can backup photos, videos and any other documents online just like cloud space in Google drive. It can be accessed from any PC, Mac or even Mobile phones using the OneDrive app.
Microsoft OneDrive offers a free storage space of 15 GB, beyond which there are several plans providing storage space of up to 1 TB at a price of $ 6.99/ month. When users delete any files on OneDrive, it lets the user undo the act and reinstate the deleted files back to the OneDrive folder from the recycle bin. If one needs to sync iPhoto Library to OneDrive, they need to download and install the OneDrive application on their Mac OSX.
Just follow the steps given below to simply sync iPhoto Library with OneDrive:

Was it intended to replace the SharePoint library sync function, or should we be able to use both simultaneously? Created a short cut to the library/folder in OneDrive, which had stopped the syncing of the folder/library to File Explorer. Click the folder/short cut that is causing the problem, then the three vertical dots, and then remove. I am syncing a SP library with my mac, and can only download files. I am unable to upload any files, they appear to be uploading, but never make progress and sit at 0KB indefinitely. This appears to be particular with the Mac OneDrive app, as it works flawlessly on my Windows machine. Version: 17.3.7078. Network - not limited.

Quick Tip to ensure your Photos never go missing

Photos are precious memories and all of us never want to ever lose them to hard disk crashes or missing drives. PicBackMan is the easiest and simplest way to keep your photos safely backed up in one or more online accounts. Simply download PicBackMan (it's free!), register your account, connect to your online store and tell PicBackMan where your photos are - PicBackMan does the rest, automatically. It bulk uploads all photos and keeps looking for new ones and uploads those too. You don't have to ever touch it.

How to use OneDrive to Backup your Mac Desktop and Documents

How to Sync Mac Desktop, Document with OneDrive OR OneDrive Business.

Like most of you reading this article, you are probably using OneDrive as your cloud document storage but can’t force the desktop, document or other folders on your MAC to sync with it. This short tutorial will show you how to do that. Before going any further I would like to credit Chris Hoffman @ How to Geek for his article on how to use Symbolic Links. After reading his article we use the same method to force Mac personal folders to sync with OneDrive or OneDrive Business. Please read his article to better understand Symbolic Links.

Prerequisite:

  • Terminal application
  • Source: Have the folder patch you want to sync with OneDrive ready or written notes
  • Destination: Have the folder patch you want to store your local folders in OneDrive ready or written notes
  • 5-10 minutes of your time.

Open Terminal application:

Library

Press Command + Space, type “Terminal”, and then press “Enter” to open Terminal from Spotlight search.
Or
From the top right search icon type “Terminal” and then press “Enter” to open Terminal
Or
In Finder go to “Applications / Utilities / Terminal to launch it

Type the following commend in the Terminal:

ln -s /Users/username/Desktop /Users/username/”OneDrive – Company”/MBP

Whereas “username” is your account name. Note there is a space between the first (source) and second (Destination) patch name. Notice also the bracket in “OneDrive – Company”, this is because OneDrive for Business may have your company name with spaces. If you type the path without the brackets, it won’t find it. So, add brackets if you have spaces in your path name.
